Pepe: The robot that encourages children to wash their hands
Pepe is a social robot designed to teach proper handwashing method to rural Indian students. This was a joint project with Dr. Amol Deshmukh from the University of Glasgow. Around 100 children were engaged and trained on safe and effective handwashing behavior in a rural village in Govt. Primary School, Chithragiri, Wayanad, Kerala, India.
Also, Pepe won the Socialis Impremiere robotic competition at Ro-MAN 2019, Delhi.
